MAP Open Track Erection

All members are required to attend track erection on an evening of 27th,28th & 29th May in preparation for the

2008 MAP Open.

Radford Autograss Club members expressed their appreciation at the Club AGM on 7th November for Barbera Gilder after she stepped down from being the Clubs President for an amazing 15 years.

Autograss & 40,000 Crowd

On Saturday 27th October a Team of Class 7 Autograss cars (two from Radford) were invited to take part in the American Monster Truck Fest at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff. The football pitch had been converted into a make shift field where Autograss Cars were part of the spectacular show.

Sad Passing of a Radford Member

Unfortunatley on the 19/8/07 Radford has lost a member of the team. (R167) John Hartles sadly died on Sunday very suddenly his heart stopped working and the paramedics and hospital couldn't bring him back. He will be missed very much by his family and friends. I know as his son (Steve Hartles) he would like everyone to know in the club, that he loved his club very much and has been in Radford Autograss Club for many many years and racing was a big part of his life.

Class 2 Ladies National Champion

Congratulations to Laura Morgan R900 for winning the Class 2 final at the Ladies National Championships for the second year running on 1st & 2nd September 2007.

Congratulations to Michelle Sumners R169 who finished 4th in the Class 3 final.

Class 7 Mens National Champion

Congratulations to Richard Merrick (The Dickster) R421 for winning the Class 7 final at the Mens National Championships on 4th & 5th August 2007.

Congratulations to Paul Waldron R139 who finished 2nd in the Class 7 final and also Congratulations to Ged Morris R205 who finished 2nd in the Class 10 final.

Congratulations also to all of the other Radford members who had qualified and represented the club at both National Championships in fine style.
