Paul Waldron - R139 has proved, that if you try and get affectionate,, make the first move and kiss the armco barrier it only ends in tears and an embarrasing walk back to the pits.
 
Andy Lee - R9 (AKA Shakey) after reading the instructions for his twin engine special has found that if you press the throttle pedal against the floor the car goes faster, much to the dismay of Paul Fackrel (R7) in the class 10 final at Radford on 18th May 2008. Excellent racing by two of the best veteran racers.

A reputable source has reported that Paul Morgan (R22) will not be racing until 16th August 2008 this year due to his new maestro shell unexpectably passing it's MOT and being put back on the road.
 
ALL Radford members will be required to attend both pre-season track erection weekends. It has been decided to rotate the track by 90 degrees. Racing for the 2008 season onwards will mean racing up and down the Radford bank and also allowing camping and spectators all the way round the track.
 
R321 - Gary Emms had the doctor chasing him into the pits after his win in the first heat at Radford on 9th September.  Gary was screaming with joy so much as he crossed the finish line the doctor thought he was seriously hurt?
 
Jo and the "Dicksters" wedding plans for next year have been postponed until further notice so he can defend his recently acquired Class 7 National Champ title during the 2008 season.

It has been hard to keep a secret but rumour has it that there will be a live group at the Radford dinner dance this year. The club are in final talks with "Wet Wet Wet"
 
NASA are soon to announce and release an autograss racing game which you play on line (Virtual racing). The idea is all the racing results from around the country are kept up to date on the games web site and when an event is cancelled due to the weather then that meeting is run from the comfort of your own home.
The licence fee will increase by £5 which will automatically register you on the game.
 
R72 - Da Yanbo has brought a ready built class 7 twin (Shh! he said don't tell anyone) Now we know why as just before the season he part exchanged it for a Junior Special come on Jo K...
 
R421 - The "Dickster" aka Richard Merrick during a recent break in Rome proposed to the lovely Jo. But what was the answer??

R161 - Grandad (aka "Chubby") & Nanny Gilder (Again!) have returned to the race track in a newly prepared Gilder machine.
 
R22 - Paul Morgan is in the Top 40 charts with a single called "I am watching you". Has moved up to number 5 on downloads alone. His other single "When will I be famous" didn't make the charts. But after Eveshams performance has moved up to the top 60.
 
R222 - Ray Ryder will be making his debut this year in his V8 powered metro. Again!! You can't rush a good job. It will now be the 2008 season. NASA rewrite the rule book faster than he can build the car.
 
R1 - Lee Waldron chose this number to save money on the stickers.
 
R31 - Darren "Stumpy" Anslow got his nick name after crashing into a tree stump. Why?
 
R588 - Rob Mathews is rumoured to become Radfords next top model  !! When???
 
R15 - Is it numero "Uno" for Grant & Tracey Victory for 2007
 
R115 - Neil Badger owner of "BadgeTec" engineering is the main  sponsor of all Radford race cars (that win the nationals in small print) for the 2007 season
 
R95 - The "Fearless" Phil Fenton has been made an honest man by Gail Thompson R195 on 21st July 2007. Tough job but some one has to do it!
 
R22 - Mystic Morgan brought the Magic Maestro home in 3rd place in the final at Evesham on 22nd April.
An extra 2 turns on the elastic band always does the trick and he knew he was going to do it, amazing!
 
R115 - Do you know what Badgetec stands for?

R80 - Nigel Bishop after his spectacular roll in his class 7 at Radford thankfully got out unhurt and in a recent interview said "it was going to fail the MOT anyway!"
